LDE Team Memo:

ATTIRE 

Official Dress. 

With the exception of Skills, who need to wear their team uniform.

Always have some cash on you for food throughout the day.

Always bring your own pencils.

Please refer to your LDE Schedule for times, dates, and location of the contests coming up.

Eaton FFA LDE Contest Schedule – Fall 2024

The following are the dates for the Fall LDE contest trained by EHS Ag Teachers. Please find your contest and plan your schedule accordingly.

Any scheduling issues must be addressed with the appropriate teacher as soon as they are identified. 

This schedule is tentative. 

OCTOBER:

• Thursday October 17th

• Arlington Invitational LDE

  • Arrive at Eaton and depart by 3:30PM (travel time 45 min to 1 hour depending on traffic)

  • Transportation Plan: 1bus, and 1 Eaton Ag truck

    • Claire Lamsfuss & Kristin Couture-Riding in the Bus 

    • Chase Pulley- Truck 

  • 68 miles round trip

  • Check in: 5:00-5:15

  • Transportation Plan: 1bus,1 Eaton Ag truck; or 2 Suburbans 1 Ag Truck

    • Vehicles are dependent on number of teams that advance.

  • 152 miles round trip

Friday & Saturday, December 6th-7th

Color Coding Key:

Yellow: Required contest to advance

Red: Potential overnight trips

Additional Information:

• Students need to bring a minimum of $20 per day to each contest.

• We will break for lunch on each trip.

• Students need to bring water bottles and snacks in a backpack to keep with them and any other necessity items they may need throughout the day – keep it light.

• Students will need to wear Official FFA Dress or the required dress for Skills Demonstration 

  • FFA Jacket

  • Boys: FFA tie; Girls: FFA scarf

  • Boys: black slacks; Girls: Black Pencil Skirt (knee length)

  • Girls: panty-hoes and dress shoes

  • Boys: black socks and black dress shoes

• Students will need to bring two pencils to each contest.

• Students need to dress for the weather, not all contests are in a controlled temperature environment, (ie jacket if it rains to wear over Official Dress, or a warm jacket to wear over Official Dress if its cold)
